Xperia X10.

I knew the X10 had a great camera and that's the reason I got one, Mine on the other hand wasn't so good. I decided it needed a small mod as the plastic covering the lens seemed to be really murky.

Following the guides below i took it apart, cleaned the screen and popped out the plastic section covering the the camera lens.

And to get to the screen.

Some of the disassembly pictures.

This is the part I popped out from the casing. You can;t see it hear but it was a little cloudy, Holding it up to your eye showed how bad it was.

This is the groove where the plastic bit was glued into, you could get to it from the outside but as I took it all apart I thought it would be easier to do it at the time.

After putting the phone back together I did a couple of test pictures. More pictures can be found via my FlickR link "Photography above" and I did a dump of files into my public dropbox folder found here. http://db.tt/OV9b9WP

Fantastic lectures by Muller here and really helped me get back into physics. When on the page from the link above simply start at the top and choose your viewing preferences.
