Everyone knows of the new see through screens in development and all the prototypes being released. The first thing that springs to mind for the best use of these is in shop windows, or places of interest to display information, other uses are car hoods for heads up displays etc.

One place I haven't read of this being thought of is mobile phones.

I had a dream about this phone last night, not specifically an Iphone 5 but just a touch screen slim phone that had a see through screen, it looked amazing.

Imagine that nice shiny Iphone 5 and when you pick it up you can see the motherboard inside and all the chips that make up the phone, they could incorporate some kind of dim led notification system for signal, battery, notifications behind the screen. The design would have to be re worked so it looked artistic.

I'm going to try and do some mock up designs. Watch this space.
