I’m an intermediate to advanced photoshop user, yet still, editing and getting the best out of astronomy images is stillĀ steep learning curve, but I’m climbing it slowly. I decided to show you some color and mono negative moon images, this process seems to enhance the detail that’s there.

Had a clear spell this morning and got the following.
Some more moon, including a 33 shot mosaic. Really Proud of these shots, My best to date.
Was having some teething problems with software last night, got loads of avi’s but only came away with these.
Well can you believe it, scope arrived and got a clear night. Im impressed so far, its already given me the ebst views of jupiter and the moon than I’ve ever had before. Here are the pics of the moon from last night.

I’ve slowly been learning Registax since I took my first moon pictures. The following images are from the same uncompressed AVI that I recorded on the 24/05/2009.
All the above images are taken with an 8 inch helios dobsonian and a VX-1000 webcam at prime focus. AVI Captured using Amcap then processed in Registax.
