I thought this was real at first.

This is 3x 30 seconds stacked images using the D40 with 50mm f1.8 lens at around 65mm. There is some lens error as you can see in the bright stars but i think it looks nice.

A few months ago I noticed a Full grown male cock pigeon had tried to kill one a smaller young one. As you can see he was damaged pretty bad. I was going to get him put down but he seemed strong so gave him a chance. Below is his progression.

Battered.

Bruised.

After some cleaning up and 2 weeks of its mother protecting it he looked a little better.

Some weeks later he found his wings and started to fly.

And finally almost a totally full recovery, Almost full size now.
